Welcome to Norfolk Villages on the Net

Norfolk Villages on the Net aims to provide a market place for Norfolk village organisations and businesses. Started in November 1998, this is an ongoing project expecting to build a picture of village life in Norfolk. This complements the Norfolk-now web site run by ECN. We will only work with villages not already on the Net (those on the Net can have an appropriate link on this site.)

Each medium to large village can have its own page, while smaller villages may be grouped together geographically on a single page. Where a page or site already exists for a locality, it will be given a link from this site. Individuals, organisations or businesses may purchase or already have their own page. Their village page can link to their own page or site.

To go to a particular village, click on the initial letter of the village and you will be taken to an alphabetical list. If the village name is in brown and underlined, then click on the name and the Village page will be displayed. If it is in ordinary print then we have not yet reached your Village.

Your village or organisation may not yet be included. If you want it added, please submit details on the Response Form, which also summarises the costs (if any) and what can be provided. Parish Councils willing to submit a description of their Village, or a list of organisations in the village, should send an email to the Webmaster or post to:

Now is the time to get on the Net as the Norfolk County Library Service already provides Internet Access at most libraries. Details of your village and your organisation could then be accessed by anyone - and many people will search for their own village when they go online! People will also search from other parts of the World looking for information. SIGN UP NOW!
